MF - SIP or Active Stock Investment?

Hi, i am regualrly investing in indian market through MF SIP from last 2 years. I am happy with returns.
But i have seen many people making money through direct investment in stock market.
i dont have much knowledge of stocks so i preferred MFs.
Am i missing bull-run.
I am keeping patience :(

MF SIP is best for you.

I have invested in MF & satisfied with return. If you will invest in stocks, you will earn profit in some & book loss in some. so your net income will be almost equal or less then MF.

Best formula is "If you don't know the market movements, invest in MF & sleep"

MF is for people who dont have enough time to do research on the stocks and invest accordingly to make profits. Whereas direct investments in stocks are suggested to those who have good amount of knowledge of the market and the stocks. This is quite a big job to do intself.
You are doing the correct thing by investing through SIP as this would reduce the risk in your MF investments.

Please make sure that you have done sufficient homework before investing directly.

MF is to the persons like you who don't have exposure in the trading activities of the stock market.

you can continue with the investment in mutual fund,

if you choose the direct investment option you have to keep an eye on the investment and the risk is not diversified and the losses are not shared with others.

you can choose the SIP option in other fund which is performing well and continue to earn profit without any tension

You are doing a great job by investing in mutual funds. Investing directly into the stock market include huge risk if you choose the wrong stocks. SIP is the best way of wise investing where a fund manager is choosing the stocks for you.

Till you learn thoroughly please do not do any trading directly and loose your money. If you are very much interested to do you can do one share per time and see the result and after your learning you can depend on your own ideas. It is only temptation and that is making you like this Yours BRAVURA
