Take a look at the CIA website. You'll find information on other countries, like average exchange rates, investment figures, major imports and exports - legal and illegal. Cost of living has all sorts of relevance as well, I don't remember if they have that, but it's worth a try.

If you're focusing on Latvia, there must be a reason. There's 200 some-odd countries out there, so whatever your reason must have some relation to the information you're looking for.
