What is forigen direct investment and forigen institution investment ?And what is the difference between them? If I'm not mistaken, I believe direct investment is the pool of smaller investors (moms, pops, your neighbor and uncle) who either have an account at ------branch, or invest directly into the company, and this branch needs to buy/sell so many shares. Your institutional investors are the heggies, mutual funders, and propriety fund buyers, buying for their particular funds, and buying in a large way. Your moms and pops, typically are seen as the lambs ready for slaughter(unless they are just investing in the company they work), whereas the larger buyers have an unusual cunningness about them, and have a way of working the market. You would be smart to learn the difference. And that, is where your markets are made! |
