I am a insurance agent and i want earn more money with my job now but i think my relationship must improve? |
i just 19 years old but i already join a job as insurance agent.i want earn more money with my job but in my age i think is hard for me to convince other people about my ability.i already try to make a call for my friends but they seems like very aggressive.how can i make them convince with me. also how to improve my networking.my friend are very less. Friends aren't actually the best people to call on at first. My friends didn't want anything to do with me until I had been doing it about 2 years and they figured I knew what I was doing. The bottom line is just make calls, calls, and more calls. If you schedule 15-20 new appointments per week you will be successful. Many people like young salespeople since they remind them of their children or grandchildren. other people want to help out new people since they were once new and remember how hard it was. A friend of mine who started with me looked like he was 14 years old due to a genetic disorder and that didn't hurt him at all. One way to work through this objection is to say that you work with a team, who reviews and works with you to determine if that product meets their needs. This being said, be sure you are working with an IMO or FMO who has the ability to shop around. Your team included the insurance company, your upline, and any other agents you work directly with. Add of all their years combined and use that number. When asked, tell your prospective clients that your team has xx amount of years in the business. Usually, they don't ask any further. Give it a try. in insurence no need to look for friends. u can tell every human being regarding h.l.v.(HUMAN LIFE VALUE) & get unbelievable business. One thing that sometimes works is to bring a member of the "service team" with you. Even if you're a rookie insurance sales guy, a seasoned service expert will help put people at ease - after all, THEY are the people who will be dealing with them after the sale is closed.
