Ways to earn some Money for prom?

Prom is in May
I moved to California in November and I want to go home (back to indiana) for prom.

I have a job but the hours are not steady.
I need some ways to earn some money for prom
I live in LA

This may seem primitive and old, but stands ususally make money. It doesn't just have to be lemonade either. It can also be other stuff like toys. Or sell unwanted things on Ebay.

Create your own fundraiser. They are quick and easy to organize. Fundraisers are ideal ways to earn money for a worthy cause and people always want to give to a good cause..and it would seem that returning home to attend (your) prom is worthy. Think about it...it may be the way to go for you...

I earned $20/hour (this was 12 years ago) - normally parties were 2.5 hours - and by the time I stopped, I normally had 3-5 parties per weekend lined up. So I was earing $150-$250 a week for hanging out and eating party food while my friends were making a LOT less than that slaving at MacDonalds ... Meanwhile, for $50 parents were getting their kids parties taken care of (look into the price in your area, back then I know grown ups were charging upwards of $250 for 1.5 hour shows).
