You guessed it cup cake! There is no reason for companies to pay for your opinion when they can get the information from their customers - just about all the stores have an on line questionnaire on the receipt - giving their customer a discount on the next purchase in exchange for an opinion.
When you get directed to these surveys you will find it is from someone who has signed on to answers in the last 24 hours - only gives out this survey information or keeps their Q&A private. It is a clue that there is something in it for them.
