What are Good Ways For A 13 Year Old To Earn Money?

I need to earn some money for a laptop for school and entertainment what are some good choices? Im 14 in july and i might try and find one then but i need to make money before school starts!!

Good old traditional methods:

1) Mow peoples' yards.
2) Walk peoples' dogs.
3) Wash cars.
4) Bake sale on your carport. People love buying Otter Pops for 10 cents each (you can make a killing on those).

Otherwise, because of the way society is these days, kids under 16 get ripped off by not being allowed to be hired into anything other than a family business. Maybe you can find one of those. They might hire you as a dishwasher or waitstaff.

Do sitting jobs, dog-walking, gardening, simple chores for your neighbors, that's pretty much the legal things you can do.

paper route, yard sale, mow peoples lawns, lemonade stand, go door to door selling like candy bars ( go buy some in bulk somewhere) um do some chores for your parents, wash cars...be creative

For a 13 year old, who does not really mind doing all the dirty work? there are tons of jobs for you like mowing lawns, cleaning pools, doing errands, minding houses, cleaning cars, babysitting, temp works at malls. If you help out in the house, then you can finish your responsibilities in the house and keep doing the same things for other people for a fee. :) good luck.

Well when I was that age i mowed lawns of neighbors/friends to make money.

With summer here, or very close to it, lawn and gardening is usually a good bet during this season. During winter - snow shoveling. Baby sitting or dog walking are also good options. Since your birthday is coming in July, you could look into a part time job close to home, but you should make sure of what the rules and restrictions are for under age employees (I know there's certain rules for how many hours you can work, but I'm not sure exactly what they are or if they vary from state to state).

#1 Save your allowances and the money you get which is not for your allowances.
#2 Mow everybody's yard.
#3 Take good care of everbody's pets.
#4 Help everbody with there chores.
#5 Sell some of your old clothes or other stuff.
#6 Babysit some young child (sorry, but this is the only way to get money)
#7 Ask your mom to help you make pizzas or some other foods to sell it to the restaurants (if they may allow you to do that.)

Try all these things and surely you'll get much money =)

some pizza places have 14 year olds working but rarely. just basically do jobs around the house and of that sort.

It depends upon your gender...most people don't ask a boy to baby sit for them...they are afraid that you'll mollest them (sad but true).

Regardless of gender...doing odd jobs for friends and family are fairly easy to get. For example, yard work and washing cars.
