If i earn money through the internet from the us and i live in the uk, what tax procedure would i have to take |
If i earn money refering us websites which then in turn send me money for their referal. How would that money be taxed? If you are resident and ordinarily resident in the UK, i.e spend over 183 days in the UK, then you will have to follow UK tax procedures on your income. If all you did was refer people to websites, then you only need to follow UK tax law. As long as no product or service was sold in the US, then you would not be subject US taxes and tarriffs. If you are asking what is your US tax liability, the answer is none. As long as you are not physically in the US, the funds paid to you by US web companies are not considered US wages. (Unless you are a US citizen living in the UK). If you are a US citizen you would still have to file taxes. |
