Best ways to earn money?

I'm a 15 year old girl (grade 9), who needs some money! I'm saving up to buy a video camera ($500-1000), and I need money. Currently, for my fund.. I have $0. I live in British Columbia.. in Vancouver. What are ways I could earn lots of money, fast (legal of course!)?

babysitting
petsitting
do yard work
or clean your house and maybe your parents will give you some money

Some places actually hire 15 yr. olds. You should ask around town. Also, babysitting is a great way to make money. Ask your parents if there is anything you can do around the house to earn money. You could also go to some neighbors that you know and ask them if they have any odd jobs they need done for some money.

If you know any Vancouver history, you could single out any American family on vacation and just walk up to them and say, "Would you like to be guided on a tour of Vancouver? I am a local and I need to earn some money to buy a video camera. I could give you some guidance and history and information about good local food, if you like.

Only pick on 'lost' looking families with children. You can't trust lots of people but American family types with a middle school child or two could be ideal.

I was there once in 1974 myself and could have benefited from a local guide. I didn't have time and money to waste on 'professional' tours. Besides I always like to do things differently.

And talk, talk, talk! Ask what they like to see. If you know any streets or how to get from here to there, you could be very good. Always have a cell phone with you.

You could be worth $50 to 100 per tour.

Personal guided tour guides can go on to become professionals and make lots of money, the more they know and the better they get around.
