Why us dollar rise and drop sometimes ? Is it safe to invest in Singapore dollar ? SGD got 0.003% inflation only. How bout gold ? Will gold drop to USD 200 per ounce then rise back again ? right now the canadian dollar is worth more than the american dollar.

it just goes up and down sometimes... i don't really know why. i've heard of other people investing their money in foreign currencies, but like any investing, there's a chance that you won't make any money.

i would put it in gold..

Right now is a good time to buy USD. That was the whole point for the gvmt to let the USD drop - to encourage foreign investment. It's on avg 25% lower against the Euro than it should be.
