Which are the best high savings accounts? |
I have 拢3500 to invest in a short term account, which is easy to access. birmingham & midshires, 5.45% HUH Here in the states ING has the highest yield. Easy access will cut your interest down but there are plenty of them out there offering big returns so be very very careful who you choose and if you want advice its choose the well known names I think that the Liquid Certificate of Deposit account would be good. Call your bank and speak to a financial representative - they will be able to tell you the best way to invest your money. easy access savings accounts are poo, the interest rate is low. What is the point of short term saving anyway?!! ????????? Emigrant Direct is by far the best ICICI bank offer 5.45% with a minimum deposit of 拢1 and Icesave offers the same (minimum deposit of 拢250) both on-line accounts - but check because the rate changes all the time as they promise to stay above the interest rate - see also MoneySavingExpert.com. I have had accounts with both and although ICICI are the quickest to increase their rate with every interest rate hike, Icesave's on-line account provides more info and is much easier to use. |
