Im looking for a stock market website?

I just signed up with Scottrade, but the kind of investing i want to do is buying and selling everyday or so. I know Scottrade is $7 per trade with little commision and I dont think that is going to be working if I want to trade on a regular basis.

Im looking for something where i could make alot of trades with little commission if possible.
I heard fidelity has a program whe i can do 36+/72+ trades I think per quarter but has a $10.95 commission. Does any one know if that 10.95 is a one time quarterly fee? or is it per trade?

Any websites are open for consideration but I want something reliable easy to work with and one where I can see gainers in each exchange over a period of days weeks months and year.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know of any.

In practice, I typically try to work trades where I can treat the commission cost as an "operating expense". If I can still make a profit even with a $10 commission cost (or really $20 since there's the entry and the exit to consider) as part of the trade, it's workable.

Daytrading can be profitable (or so I've heard), but it's kind of like being a professional poker player. You got to know when to make your move and when to protect your chips.

Unless you're talking about big-dollar transactions, the trading costs of "buying and selling everyday" will eat you alive even at discount brokerages. Few people succeed at this.

I feel your pain. I trade stocks daily and get killed with fees and commission costs. Scottrade is probably one of the lowest. I use sharebuilder, but I wouldn't recommend them, since they have poor customer service and they're rates are ridiculous. 11.95-15.95. Screw that. Anyways, I dabble a lot of everyday trades, but like a previous poster said, it is indeed like playing poker or gambling. Hopefully you're psychic or very lucky, because most stocks are unpredictable. When I first started trading, I dabbled a lot into penny stocks. I would buy 5,000 shares at a time at 5 cents and try and sell them when they hit 7-8 cents, for a decent turn around. Well, there are a whole lot of flaws with that plan right there. Trust me, I lost a bit of money because I had no idea what I was doing.

Short-term investing like this is a gamble, and it can either do a lot of good for you, or a lot of bad. All depends on what cards you're holding.
