I see ads and have attended seminars about easy money. I think there is no such thing. However, there are ways people can make more money. That is why people go to school like trade tech or regular colleges.
Do you know the failure rate of running a small business is 95% based on SCORE statistics? Why?
Another thought, I think one can make money with online business like eBay or other online shops but it is not easy. It requires knowledge and work.
Your thoughts? You have a pretty good perspective on life and commerce. I don鈥檛 know any one who makes 鈥渆asy money鈥? All of us work for the money we earn, don鈥檛 we?
1] Some work smarter than others. 3] Some physically work. 5] Others use combinations of what I stated
2] Some work harder than others. 4] Others mentally work. 6] And then there are those who THINK they can 鈥減ull a fast one鈥?and 鈥済et over on the boss鈥?br>
BUT we KNOW they are only fooling themselves, don鈥檛 we? Sooner or later each of those idiots get caught 鈥渨ith a hand in the cookie jar鈥? don鈥檛 they?
The only people who 鈥渕ake鈥?money work at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing AND at the mints. The rest of us have to 鈥渆arn鈥?money.
There are two old sayings:
A] "The only stupid question is the question you don't ask."
B] "So, you thought --- and think --- education is expensive? Just wait until you try ignorance."
Ask questions of knowledgeable people.
Remember this: When you are in a group and you or someone else asks a question; that question being asked could be a question one or more folks have on their mind, BUT are afraid to ask.
DON'T be afraid to ask questions - and keep asking questions until you get understandable answers to your questions. This requires persistence and tenacity.
Will some folks think you're a pain in the neck [and another place]? Absolutely. Don't settle for
"fluff" answers or "smoke and mirrors" answers.
After getting ALL your questions answered to your satisfaction, HOW do you make your decision?

You can use more than 1 sheet of paper for one career or one type of investment.
You can take as long as you like.
You can take as little time as you like.
You can simply ignore this.
This is your career and your life you鈥檙e getting answers to and about.
Sit down in a very quiet place. No TV, radio or any other interruptions or distractions.
At the top on a blank sheet of paper, write the situation/challenge/problem you are faced with:
Should I/we do .....? After the question, draw a vertical line down the middle and a horizontal line across the top of that vertical line - much like a very large upper case "T".
On the left side of that middle vertical line, write "For" or "+".
On the right side of that middle vertical line, write "Against" or "-".
Under that +, number and write down ALL those things or points which could help you to go FOR that question.
Under that -, number and write down ALL those things or points which could help you NOT to go or Against that question.
Do the same for any and all other careers your interested in pursuing. You can switch back from sheet to sheet and from + to - and then from - to +.
Look at the numbers between all of your sheets: When the + outnumber/outweigh the -, do it. When the - outnumber/outweigh the +, don't do it.
And I think we went-full circle on this one: Is it easy to make/earn money? Its as easy or as difficult s a person decides in his/her mind, isn't it?

Please consider doing some of the other things suggested by other folks answering your Q. Report It
Making money is not easy, you have to work hard for it Making money takes a combination of things or at least one of the following:
1) Intelligence and/or Creativity! You need to know what to invest in or plan AHEAD. You also could come up with a fantastic idea to sell or bank on.
2) Great people skills/Networking! You need to market ideas. Know the right people... know who to trust and who not to trust.
3) Luck! Some people are just in the right place at the right time... they get a crazy job offer or a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
4) Skill! You should be good at what you do :)
Those are the key things to getting rich, I think. 95% of the time it requires a lot of work. Now as for making decent money... you should get an education and pick a career that is really moving. It's not as easy as getting your degree though! If you want to move away, you need to be competitive! Internships are a great way to establish yourself.
Starting a business is super tough... but if you have all the key points above, you have a good chance at succeeding. Businesses that fail are usually lacking in one area (or more). Then there are the geniuses that come up with amazing ideas... like big websites: ebay! YouTube! These were started by people that had nothing but a great idea and some money to support an internet site. :) I'm still waiting for my great idea :P According to the SBA business fail mostly because of lack of capital and lack of management expertise.The most often opened business is restaurants and almost all of them fail. It takes more than just knowing how to make a good meal. If I were to want to open a new business I'd get a job working in the my field of choice in a profitable company and then learn as much as I could. I have know folks who have bought business and then run them into he ground. In one case a restaurant they changed the entire menu. In another a gas station the new owner fired everyone working there and hired all his friends. (Your friends don't think they have to work because you will never fire them). Any business requires knowledge and work and some funding. Also in your stats most new business go under in the first year. People seem to think owning and operating a business is easy as pie, until you really do it.
E-bay is a good resource but I have sold on e-bay for the last three months and think it is over saturated.
There are a variety of reasons why small business fail,
The person doesn't research the area to see if there is a service that can be offered that isn't already there, lack of funding for the start up, and maintaining the business, advertising.
Also I don't beleive people think about where the money is going to come from whether you have a product or service you have to sell it order to get paid, so when you own your own business you put all the money out before you make some back. With a regular job it's not like that.
Even with home based business where you can cut down your expenses you still have to be able to obtain customers, many people do not realize the time and investment you must commit to they thing they can run it like a full time job 40 hours per week, where in reality it may take up much more of your time until you get it going.
MLM's like Vemma, Fortune Builder and others rely on the go old system of the pyramid scam, where the top person makes all the money and it trickles down the line. Yea some people have made it rich on those systems but once it has cycled it is pretty much over and than they try to re-cycle it to make more money.
There is some truth about making money in real estate, I have ordered a couple of those books,and programs also, and I have purchased tax deeds and made a profit from them, however again it has been pretty saturated.
It defintly is not easy during the winter months I work a full-time job becuase I live in a seasonal area, in the summer I do all kinds of shows and I sell on e-bay also.
Your right it's not easy I spend countless hours finding products to sell, setting up for my next show, contacting people, and lots more, I am not rich by any means but so far my business is making a profit.
lets just hope it keeps up It's easy if you enjoy what you are doing. Any business requires work... you will not find someting for free... businesses require some form of investment... otherwise you will not have the drive to succeed. McDonald's has a huge investment ($250,000)... But let's say you open a hot dog stand... you will have to buy a cart ($5,700+), the hot dogs, buns, condiments, etc... Money doesn't come easy. Not withstanding the above said, money can come in aplenty when one has ideas that sell. Book smarts and academic success doesn't always translate into business success. I know. I've tried ways to earn money from home since I have no choice but to stay with the kids. Over the years I've put a lot of time and money into a lot of companies.
