Balance sheet help, PLEEZE? |
I have done my icome statement and statement of owner's equity but am struggling with the balance sheet. Am I putting these account s in the right place? Coming from a degreed accountant I have to say that you seem to have everything correct. The Accumulated Amortization on Equipment seems like you mean Depreciation in which case it is a negative asset, reducing the value of the equipment. One thing I used to do in college was pull up an annual report from a large public company, which are available online, and look at their balance sheets to use as a guide. Sometimes it helped.
