Exiting a stock is one of the most difficult decisions. I would strongly recommend you to go through the article by DD on how to exit a stock.

http://www.ddstockblog.com/index.php?tit...

This gives a very good idea of how to exit a stock and when to book profits. Since you did not mention the stock you are invested on it is difficult to suggest what needs to be done. But booking some profits is still advisable.

do partial profit taking

do not borrow to invest other wise u may have mafia visitng u and be after ur wits.

Friend,
U say that u had invested Rs.10900 and now it has grown to Rs.17500. Just take out your investment of Rs.10900 and let the remaining profit be stay invested. Usually, I would follow this strategy.

What Mohan suggest is good because in a volatile market if things get worse you won't lose your capital only your interest.

you have made good amount in stocks. the decision would have been easy if you had given the type of stocks you bought, the available amount you have for investment etc. assuming you need to pay your money for cc from the above stocks, i advise you can book profits and pay of the amount.

thanks,
srikanth
