What is the best investment opportuniy amongst Gold, Property or Equity shares?

Don't you think this question is a little open ended?

I'm a financial and investment planner by profession and there is no way that this question is answerable.

You first need to decide for yourself:

How much you want to invest, for how long, how much risk you are willing to take, how much access you may need to the money, whether you wish to invest directly or via a fund, which country you plan to invest in, which currency, etc.

Without that sort of thinking from you, the best intentioned answer in the world will not be able to help you.

It depends on your risk appetite. As usual, higher the risk, higher the returns.

One best thing advisable is look at the longterm and then invest.

These days, Real Estate is booming in India even though Gold has its own charm. Equity is a little volatile these days but if you are looking to invest for the long term, this is the best time to buy shares.
