New york stock exchange homework? |
i have to get close to 10,000 its a homework assisgment This is a relatively easy assignment. The difficult part will be picking the 3 companies. By 4 trades, I am not certain whether is ment 3 buys and one sell or 4 buys and 4 sells. That actually would be 8 trades, but it might not be. So pick your 3 companies or maybe even 4 companies. Go to Yahoo Finance, find the ticker symbol for each company and record the number of shares you decided to buy and the price at which you bought them. You can use the price that appears as the current price on the screen. It actually lags by 20 minutes, but this is just a game. Set up your portfolio on Yahoo finance for the 3 or 4 stocks recording the number of shares and stock price at which you bought them. The portfolio tracker will do the rest including recording your gain or loss on each one and keeping a running total. Heck, I think I did. Report It |
