What happened to the Fidelity growth&income fund FGRIX? It dropped 20% in one day.?

A class action lawsuit of a stock within the fund. People are trying to get out of this fund. Link shows that this fund is among the top funds of outflows.

WRONG answer!!!

This was caused by a capital gains distribution. no money was lost, it's similar in concept to a stock split (if you re-invest). Price decreases, but you get a distribution, or increase the # of shares. Report It

See........Even a Fund that is called SAFE by just about every Financial Advisor out there can get HIT Hard on the downside!
