Foreign country investment? |
I live in India.I want buy shares in a foreign company.say in china,US etc.what is the procedure for making such investment from india.what is the maximum amount i can invest. If this is not possible.can any of my relative in foreign country buy shares there and transfer it my name?what if he trades there on my behalf and then transfers the amount at regular intervals? There's nothing stopping you opening an account with a broker in India who will buy and sell US shares for you. You can even open an online account from India with a US based broker. I live in the UK and have opened an account with TD Ameritrade in the US, the idenification requirements to open the account online are more complicated but the trading costs are much lower. Unless Indian law applies foreign exchange controls (limits the amount of money you can take out the country) here are no limits on what you can invest. TD Ameritrade. Why not just buy a investment property here australia? so many indians now are living here. and they collecting investments allover the australia. I can help you with that. please email me if ur interested maylene_biz@yahoo.com.au |
