Fxcm, forex trading?

i am new to fxcm.com, and wondering if they is a good chance after learning on the practice account that i can expect a good return on money. also is there anyone who has made a lot of money or lost money.
help would be greatful!!

The one thing you want to look at is avoid short-term investing (less than 4 hours). Reason why is that they make money on the spread between the ask/bid prices. And sometimes these companies, who have millions in reserves, can actually flood the market in either direction to get people to lose money and therefore closing positions. This is called Short Hunting. This should always be your concern, and if it happens, hang in there and wait till they stop.

No one company is going to make you more money than another. They all have their perks and their kinks. I love Forex, and I think its one of the best ways to invest, given the markets hours!

I rarely recommend sites, but this is an outstanding site to learn to be a truly savvy forex trader.

www.forex4noobs.com

I am putting my attention on shorting the GBP/JPY over the course for the next 3 months. Naturally, the pair is NOT going to be going down the whole time, but over the time-frame I antcipate it dropping to about 2.00 or less.

Hope this helped.

One of my friends lost $19K in the forex market because he didn't listen to my advice, and was doing impulsive decision.

The best advice I can give you is to know your OWN attitude towards money.

The second one is educate yourself.

The third is that you must know that trading in a demo account and trading in a real account is different, but nobody will tell you this.

All the best.
