Is there a good affordable way to learn to trade the FOREX?

I don't want to pay thousands of dollars for another "one size fits all" training program. I also don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a software program that generates red and green lights telling you what to do when.
I think that the FOREX has advantages over other markets due to its sheer size, and hours of operation.
Thank you.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not really interested in ETF's either. I am talking strictly about the FOREX Spot Market.
There's only so many currency pairs to analyze, there's no commissions, and it's the largest market in the world.

You can start by reading everything on free websites like:

http://forexfactory.com/

join with forex community and learn from other members.

If you want to develop your trading skills you can create a "practice" portfolio at http://www.top10traders.com - it's free - each month the site ranks the best traders.

Here is a link on the currency ETFs - a great way to get started with FOREX:

Hi there,

I'm currently offering a free copy of my new 26-page Forex trading guide, "Forex Trading Traps!"... you can get it at http://www.forexsystemprofits.com/

find something at http://www.vc22.com/

This is a great site to learn the forex: http://www.babypips.com.
Also http://www.etoroforexgames.com has a great platform to start with.
Their platform makes it easy to understand what is going and it is unlike any other
platform in the world. They also automatically put in stop loss orders for you,
offers its services for free, and there are no commissions.

Have a look at Forex Trend Trader. A very effective trend ID system. This is a paid product but cheap if you're even mildly serious about trading forex. It also offers a free forex beginners free email course so you can get a feel and spend nothing to start with.

The best way to learn Forex is to study the markets deeply, and practice on a demo account.
You can use a good course or system to develop your own trading strategy. On http://www.forextopten.com/forex-top-ten... you can check plenty of courses and systems with reviews. Most of the good courses on the market don't cost more than $97, so It doesn't make any sense to pay thousands for them...
Good luck.

go to the largest broker websites like forex.com and fxcm and just start reading, my website has technical papers and an audio library at no cost.
