As a realistic online investment opportunity in Forex - is "Derivedge.com" a good option ?

The Company seems to be offering a modest return, given the fact that FOREX can be very profitable in the right hands. Also, it is a registered Company, at least that is what it declares.

You need to be careful. Forex companies are springy up faster than a US presidential candidate swearing that they won't raise taxes.

Derivedge looks to be a very new player .... especially since their domain name was acquired on 9/20/2007.

They are specific in their info that they are not an HYIP .... yet their "ratings" are all from HYIP "rating sites".

The fact that you are extremely limited in your funding selections would lead me to believe that you would be extemely limited in your ability to get your money back out. (You will find some very interesting reading on e-gold on the US Dept of Justice and the FBI websites).

And lastly why would anyone give their hard earned money to some stranger on the internet to trade in the Forex market for them? Why not simply learn a couple of conservative Forex strategies and manage your own investments?

Lastly, are they registered with the NFA or with the CFTC? I saw no evidence of that.

Use caution when dealing with your hard earned money.

This site looks very suspicious to me, especially when they want you to use E-gold. I would not use E-gold for transactions. It is too easy to get your money stolen, and it is very hard to find out who stole it. Many scam artists like you to invest via E-gold because it is hard to trace them when they disappear with your money. Always use another method other than E-gold to transfer funds. If a website will only use E-gold they are probably a scam. E-gold has been indicted for illegal activities. (E-gold denies the charges which are going to court.)

I am not familiar with the other two money transfer schemes, V-Money or Liberty Reserve, unless you are familiar with them, I wouldn't use them either.

Their website design is quite poor for a successful forex trading company. And when you consider that anyone and I repeat ANYONE can register a domain and setup a website for less than $100, what can you expect?

Be very careful with any investing websites (even better looking). They will tell you ANYTHING to convice you to give them your money and when they disappear, there is not much you can do.

Regards,

I agree with Loviho a professional company would be able to spend money on a site design team. It just does not feel right.
