There are plenty of good Forex websites out there.
For free education I would go to http://www.babypips.com . For news and free charts I would go to http://www.dailyfx.com . For more learning and to find out more Forex products I would go to http://www.forextopten.com .

There are literally tons of Forex companies out there that offer you a practice account to learn from. They also have webinars that will guide you though the learning process. Last time I checked, Forex.com was offering a free book, Forex for Dummies, when you opened a practice account. I have a forex account, and they have up-to-the minute news information regarding the currency market, which I have not found in any other provider. Their charts aren't all that great, graphics and useability wise, but they are sufficient.

P.S. You will get lots of advise on what Technical Analysis tool to use, and you do want to use several...but one that I find highly effective but often times overlooked is the Relative Strength Index.
