Swiss forex broker Finex - is it regulated?

I want to open an account with Finex, but I can't seem to figure out if it is regulated in any way or not. Please refer to this link....

Some unregulated firms listed on this website... but for some reason it doesn't include Finex. Can anyone figure out if they are regulated?
Thanks a lot in advance.

The Following Swiss Forex Brokers are unregulated just like Tradex Swiss
WestCapFX
ACM
MIG
DukasCopy
GFX Group (Forex.CH)
Crown Forex

Thanks

Actually, the "Spot Forex" market is still unregulated in the US.

The NFA and CFTC regulate the "Forex Futures" market and they are beginning to make inroads in publishing "recommendations" that will soon help corral the players in the spot Forex market.

When looking at international Forex brokers many traders consider the financial strength and political stability of the particular country as a key element.

Switzerland is certainly a country that has traditionally been known for its financial strength and strong banking industry even in times of international unrest.

Many international Forex brokers will not accept US clients because they choose not to comply with some of the onerous reporting and access laws of the US requiring them to provide data on their clients while they would prefer instead to keep their clients information confidential.

I'm sorry., I got off your topic a bit. I have found a number of good reviews on Finex but I have not seen anything about them being "regulated" or not.

Good luck.

Paul

Even if it is properly registered and regulated in Swiss, foreign countries have weaker regulations. Simply no other country has laws/regulations as reliable as the US, period.

So use a US based, reputable broker.
