As the largest institutional shareholder of YHOO stock, what is Capital Reseach and Management Company's historical pattern of moving money in and out of YHOO? Are they part of AMerican Funds and Capital Group? Capital Research and Management Co, also known as CRMC is the part of American Funds/Capital Group that makes all fo the decisions about which stocks each fund will invest. American Funds uses what are known as "portfolio counselors". The PCs are a group of individuals who collectively manage each fund rather than having them managed by a single manager or a committee system.
