What is the average salary of someone starting out in fund management in london?

35k ! Your having a laugh ! Try 拢135K just for starters and then start to add on the bonus's then you may get near the true figure of 拢220K !

拢35k

It depends on experience and qualifications- with nothing... expect about 拢15-18k plus a bonus of 10-20% per annum and a pension.

With qualifications and experience, it can be significantly more (not sure about 220k plus- I must be going wrong somewhere!!!) Try a recruitment website like www.robertwalters.com

I agree, more around 拢18k when you start, goes up with experience and additional qualifications, can expect good growth in few years

Later in career i.e after 4 years if u r good the numbers are great i.e. 55k base and around 80-150% bonus. But for starters it's 35k with bonus of around 40-60%. These are big banks and large investment managers figures, smaller funds pay much less.
