Sp-Fund Management Company Ltd is a mutual fund management company owned by 37 Finnish savings banks. Company offers domestic and international equity, balanced and fixed income funds to the customers of the savings banks in Finland.

Finnish savings banks group consists of 40 savings banks, of which each operates on it's own region and is an independent legal entity. However savings banks share common inheritance and common way to operate. The basic strategy is to serve regional clients on banks own region. Savings banks have always put emphasis on promoting personal savings. Savings banks offer full range of banking services concentrating on households and small and medium sized enterprises. For that reason basic financial services are different kinds of savings accounts, loans and electronic payment services.

Finnish savings banks market share is about 8,5 % measured by deposits. Savings banks position is strong especially on households and agriculture.
