You REALLY shouldn't be trying to do things with your money that you don't understand ..

Read up on Unit Trusts and Investment Strategy first .. then you will know why you should ask (and answer) the following questions first .. and when you can do that, you are ready to choose how to invest your money ..

The graph shows last 3 years performance .. is this good or bad ? (hint what was the performance of the FTSE 100 over the same time-scale) ..

"The Discretionary unit trust, which was originally launched in 1963" .. and "has been a strong performer since he took charge of it in 1990"..

SO, what was the performance between 1963 and 1990 ?

.. and what has been the overall performance between 1990 and 2007 (again, compared to FTSE100) ??

How was performance 'measured' ? (most funds have both an 'initial' fee and a annual 'management fee' .. is the performance BEFORE deducting fees ??? ..)

.. and so on
