Can a fund manager control the price of a certain stock if he or she has enough funds to control the stock? |
In other words, enough funds to be able to purchase the majority of the free float available for a certain stock? Definitly YES. But such price manipulation would be unlawful. He would have influence, but there are a lot of factors that go into the price of the stock, such profitablility, expectations of the company, ect... |
