What is institutional fund manager??

This can also refer to a person who manages an investment fund that is subscribed to primarily by non-profits, universities, pensions funds etc. An example would be an equities fund that has 35 investors, who each contributed an average of $25 Million each, and all of them are institutions. The institutional fund manager does not necessarily work for the institution or manage an endowment directly.

An individual who manages investments for an institution like a pension fund, or a collage endowment fund etc.
