How to be a Fund Manager? |
where do you start? What do Fund manager's do? How much do they make? You should probably be a business major to start, BS at minimum, a MBA would be better. You should start out working at a mutual fund company as an assistant if you have no experience, in the analyst side if you do, and you can work your way up form there. Along the way you should also be working on your CFA (Chartered Financial Annalist), have not done it myself but know a few very smart people that have tried (and are still working on it). It is a series of three test and you need someone to sponsor you take them. It will probably take you years to get to that level if you have no experience. |
