sounds like a scam to me.

I wouldn't give my credit card number to some company saying it was providing me with a job opportunity.... that sounds like an opportunity for the company to take my money!

It's a scam. Any open-call job opportunity that wants you to pay up front for something other than a uniform is a scam.

It is a SCAM. Any "agency" that requires you to pay up front is a scam. The legitimate ones get paid once you get a job.

They will take pictures of you, of which you pay them for that, no guarantee that you will get used for anything. I did the same thing, I paid the money, took pictures and got nothing in return, not even copies of the pictures.The photographer was telling me , he could see me doing Motorcycle commercials, I am a big guy, long hair,but no tattoos,I do like motorcycles, but I never heard from them after the photo shoot.

Its a SCAM! Just keep moving on you willl get a call soon from a reputable Institution

That does sound scammish to me. Any employer that demands you pay them money is running a scam. Odds are, any employment placing agency that demands you pay them money is running a scam.

By targetting people wanting to be in the movies, the scammers are tapping into people's dreams. Many people dream of being a big star. Lots of good stuff happens to people who are big stars. Lots of money and fame and cool stuff. Some people dream about this alot. In fact, some dream about it so much that they are desparate to become a star. These people can be convinced to hand over money for just about anything if the scammer can just convince the person that it will lead to stardom. Don't be the desparate victim. Don't give these people money or any information about yourself.
