I have money in GLD right now and it's not pretty due to the fact that I bought @ $71 a share and it around 65 right now. If you are looking to get in right now I believe your risk vs reward is just too high. Gold might go up to $1000 dollars an oz but it's around $640 an oz and many consider the commodities boom the second coming of the dot com bubble burst. Don't put more than %7 percent of your portfolio in these commodities.
