Does anybody know ANYthing about the former hedge fund "Amber Fund" also known as "the Fund"? |
I can only find two blips about it through yahoo or google. I know a man named John F. Bender managed its investments and then partnered with another guy named Kooneman (sp?) who raised investments from third party investors. Any other info would be appreciated. Perhaps what years it existed, who is this John F. Bender that scored so well with "the Fund" and then disappeared? When it was dissolved, it was worth $143 million, split 57% to 43% (approx.), between Bender and partner, respectively. A mind that can invest that well ought to be picked up by some other hedge funds/investors/trading houses, no? Yet, there is no info on the fund or the man behind it on the web. i've done the same before physics exams. good luck on the test |
