Hedge fund vs Investment partnership?

Is opening an account here the same as opening a hedge fund or an investment partnership?

I know Warren Buffett began before Berkshire Hathaway the Buffett Partnership, is what is shown on this website similar?

That link is to a program run by BetterInvesting wherein regular individuals can pool money to invest together, and is organized as a partnership.

While many hedge funds are organized as a partnerships, the key difference is that a hedge fund is an investing vehicle only available to qualified investors. That is, people who meet a certain asset or income level.

Additional, investing clubs are generally democratic organization where all/most of members agree on what the groups money will be invested in. In a hedge fund, people hand money over to a (hopefully) experienced and sophisticated investor to be managed in a pool of funds with all the other partners.
