High yield saving accounts?

I'm planning to open a high yields saving account with about 300-500 dollars, my question is what do you think is the best bank to do this at and does anyone know of a bank that doesn't change the interest rate once you open a high yield account?

Obviously, I am in America.
I am posting in the American section of Yahoo Answers.

Ing.

You know that high yield also means higher risk, right?

Make sure that you can not lose money on the account.

High yield does not mean high risk. All deposits at banks are federally insured.

It would help to know what country you are in :)

In Canada/US, ING is a pretty good choice.

Do an internet bank that is FDIC insured, do it soon. Interest rates will be cut next week. Get and insured Certificate of Deposit. If you want to do it locally, find a Credit Union that you can be a member. They tend to pay more.

Search www.ratezip.com to find the best high yield savings account rates from banks nationwide.
