Does anyone invest in high risk loans on www.prosper.com?

I just do not see many being funded. I had hoped that this would be a way to get a good loan with bad credit. Our credit is bad because we have a lot of medical and dental bills on there and the only good is a house note and car note. We live in TX so we cannot get a refinance loan because you can only refinance 80% of your home and if we do that ( owe 110,000 worth 135,000) we end up paying more in refinance costs than getting back in home equity. We are trying to pay off everything on our credit (lots of old doctor bills and a few old credit cards from before I got sick) I had showed a good income, a large bonus due in March 07(use to pay off loan), been at the same job for 9 yrs, lived in same house for 8 yrs. I just do not know what else to say to get someone who wants to invest to bid on my loan. I know I am good for it, but how do I convince others I am good for it? It is listed under gandbcole on www.prosper.com if you want to read what I wrote and give me some advice.

There are some mortgage companies that have very low closing costs... search for them.
You may be able to force the appreciation on your home before you try to refinance it. A coat of paint and increasing the curb appeal are a couple of things that could be done with very little cost. De-junking is something that is also overlooked by owners trying to sell or refinance.

No. Even a investor like me who takes high risk wouldn't do it. The risk is too high to lend out and amount is too little to waste my time there.
