Can i recieve section 8 if i am divorced?

i need low income housing but i don't have custody of my kids. Even though I have them all week while my ex husband works. I need help finding a place to stay i am homeless and not able to provide for my three children with lack of funds. Is ther someplace i can go for counseling and help with depression?

Yes you can receive section 8 although you diviorce that has nothing to do with it, keep in mind most all section 8 waiting list are closed but some do open depending on where you live

Go to your Church you will usually find that they are very helpful in situations like this,
Go to your doctor and he will refer you for counselling and medication for your depression.
your town hall should be able to help with Housing.
