Where to get funds to produce and market a female nude charity calendar?

Before you think no one would pose for a nude charity calendar, I am nearly finished shooting one with 12 professional/semi-professional female models,. I'm focusing on publication date of 8/2008 because that's when publishers need final proof. The quality of the work is professional. That said, any ideas where I could get funding of the publication--foundations, charity groups, individuals? Part of profits will go to low-income women who need money for college tuition. Last resort is I'll pay for it myself. Also, I could use ideas where to advertise it once published? Thanks

I guess i wasn't clear. I mean how to seek out a 501(c)3 group that would accept money from profits, then finding a 'backer' who' be willing to pay publishing costs (maybe marketing - advertising costs, then a distributor.

I'm confused about your reference to "charity," when you also say that "part of profits will go to low-income women who need money for college tuition." Will this be a 501(c)(3) charity, or a formal non-profit, or is this just an assurance that you're making?

Nobody is going to "give" you money, nor probably lend you money, unless you have a legitimate charitable entity properly involved.

You also referred to "publishers" but normally a publisher doesn't seek funding for a calendar it publishes, so I think you're really referring to "printers." Also, August 2008 is far too late for a final proof for most calendar publishers -- they are disseminating marketing information about their 2009 calendars well before then, and the calendars are generally printed during the summer when press time is cheaper and there is ample time for calendars to be shipped (from China, where most are printed, to warehouses and then to distributors and resellers).
