So you already got your share it sounds like.
Your brothers don't trust you, obviously, to lend you any money. They know you probably won't pay them back.

It is a sad thing when family doesn't put family as priority number one to help and support. That's what we SHOULD do, BUT, they also don't want you dependent on them for everything or anything you need all the time. They don't want you to "leach" off of them.
Trust me on this. My parents are poor and all my relatives multi-millionaires and do they help? Maybe once in a blue moon. They just tell my parents to budget better, get better jobs, etc., etc. You CAN do it, just takes lots of patience, work and study and diligence. Not throwing in the rag if you don't like something and quitting.

Sorry your wife is in this condition. It only adds to the difficulties that you're already dealing with.
The only thing I think you can do is sell your home to pay off the medical and other debts/expenses and then move into a cheap apartment and get a job, or two, or three, until you get back on your feet, and if your wife just cannot take care of herself at all then it might not be a bad idea to hire Hospice or some in-home care people or have her taken care of somewhere else until you're more stable yourself. With or without your wife, it sounds like you can't take care of yourself alone.

Go get a Gov't grant and go to school; get an education in something and go get a better job.

There's really not much else you can do.

Just stop thinking about what rich people can do to help you. It'll only depress you and make things worse and you'll start to resent them a lot. That won't do you or them any good at all. Stop expecting or hoping for someone to help you out. You have to live in this world like as if you were all alone. Like everything depended on you, not someone else and their money. They worked hard for what they have, believe me, they have, and you really can do the same. It just takes time, perserverance, dedication, commitment, long-suffering, and more.

If you're just extremely desperate right now, go to a church or something and ask for charity.

Or contact the news and make a story of it and open a bank account in your wife's name so that people who see the story on the news can donate for HER.

At any rate, good luck.
And keep on keeping on.

Can you go see a poor people's lawyer? I don't know what they are listed under, but I know there is such a thing. They can help you.

If your wife is disabled and you have such a low income, doesn't she qualify for some government program?

You need to find out about what you are eligible for and get on it NOW! It sounds like you will just go deeper and deeper in trouble if you do not get some help soon.

They have some kind of lawyer question place on ANSWERS, too. Good luck!
