Who thinks paying income tax is wrong?

just one simple example where much of your tax dollars go

Over one recent 18-month period, Air Force and Navy personnel used government-funded credit cards to charge at least $102,400 for admission to entertainment events, $48,250 for gambling, $69,300 for cruises, and $73,950 for exotic dance clubs and prostitutes.

The federal government cannot account for $24.5 billion spent in 2003.

I don't, but the rich could pay more into it I bet.

That's all fine and dandy, but do you have kids that go, or went to public school? Tax dollars. Do you drive on roads? Tax dollars. Do you like milk or any other agricultural products? Farmers are often subsidized with tax dollars. You speak of the military, so do you like having the freedom to make that complaint? Tax dollars again. So, yes, while your example shows obvious fraud, waste, and abuse, it does not show the whole picture of the tax system, and quite frankly, if you don't like it you also have the freedom to go live in another country.

thats wrong the subsidies to haliburton big oil are wrong the fact that the rich and corporations pay nothing after write offs is wrong

The concept of paying a tax ( based on ur ability to pay ) to support basic services infastructure defense education health care etc is accpetable to me

I would like to know where you got this information....First of all the Government-Funded credit cards are issued to VERY! few people and when I mean very I mean VERY few. This would include ranking officers that do travel in their own vehicles such as gas cards, expenses for recruiters etc. As for the one thats possibly paid for entertainment events....they have to explain why and who they took, its not like they are out to rock concerts, gambling and exotic dance clubs those people were obviously fired and prostitutes? where do prostitues keep there credit card machines and you think prostitutes take credit cards now that would be stupid. Government cards are extremely monitored they have to have reciepts and expense reports these things would not be on the credit cards with out prior authorization.

I think if you don't want to pay taxes go to another Country Road schools etc cost money

...Kevin above-you should look for another country now-unless we as a people find a way to answer the questions or problems that plague our nation-the above info.is ionformative and I agree the fraud being committed against the people of this nation id criminal and all politicians should be held accountable!
