I want to be a Director of a limited company, with chance to gain knowledge which would help me to run the company and have a say, when the company is at a stage to offer a wage then I could have a fair chance of becoming fully paid.As the other Director would fund the company in everyway.Till it grew in its own way.It seems that you can only work for a charity non payed if on job seekers allowence. So my oppurtunity of geting of benifits with this great chance, seems to be slipping out my hands.Sad it is,as all the ideas came from me and .

There is the possibility you could get working tax credit depending on your particular circumstances.

To claim you must work at least 16 hours per week and at least one of the following

1. be responsible for a child or qualifying young person

2. have a disability that puts you at a disadvantage in getting a job

3. be aged 50 or over and be returning to work after a period on benefit

If none of these apply you must:

be aged 25 or over and usually working at least 30 hours a week

Tax credits are based on your household income and circumstances, so you'll need to give information that includes:

your income and the number of hours you normally work a week

the income of your partner or civil partner (if you have one) and the number of hours they normally work a week

any benefits you're getting

the number and ages of children in your family

the amount you spend each week on childcare

Ask an adviser at your job center BEFORE you take any steps to start working or apply.
