HELP...I am trying to find a low cost tax free Muni Fund for AZ?

I am lost. Any suggestions would be great. Where and what to look for. I am trying to get some tax free income at a low cost. I have been looking all day but keep getting lost as to which one i should choose. Thanks for your help and time!

Thanks Andy, yea I am well abpve the 25% AGI. I havent invested in munis before but have some cash that I can park for a while and figured getting some tax free income wouldn't hurt. Should I look at a national muni or am i better off continuing to look for an AZ one? FAZTX is a front loaded fund

Hmm not that many AZ Muni Funds out there ... Nuveen has some FAZTX

Are state taxes that high in AZ ? You might be able to move to Nevada if you're really making bank where they have no state income tax.

A rule of thumb is that most people don't benefit from owning Muni funds unless their AGI puts them into the 25% tax bracket. (AGI is not what you made but what you have to pay taxes on, and you should check your previous year tax forms.)

Unless you're into the 25% tax bracket I'd suggest regular old bond funds.

Try Vanguard, they are the low cost leader.
