Just started my 401k where can i start a porfolio of all my choices? |
i just started my 401k plan at safeway- i wanted to find a site that would manage all my picks. i dont know to much about stock so any good sites would be appriciated thankyou heres a list of my stock go to the MFEA.COM that site gives you free morningstar infomation so you can figure out what you want to invest in from your choices you have in your 401K. Most places you do your own investments. Put your money in like the money market fund until you look up the performance of the plan's mutual funds. You can do this easily by reading some books and the morningstar performance information The company probably has a website where you can track your 401k. Or you might be able to set up a portfolio in Morningstar. These are all mutual funds (not stocks) except for the Safeway stock. What do you mean by a site that will "manage" your picks? If you want to track their performance, use the Morningstar.com portfolio function. |
