A person recieved money from a lawsuit, is there any investments you can use to keep from paying income taxes? |
I'm wanting to know if a person invest in some sort of mutual funds... CD, Roth IRA, ect... using monies recieved from a civil suit, is this possible to invest it and not have to pay federal income taxes? only way is to use the money to top off ira's!!! Buy municipal bonds issued buy your state or local government in your state. You can "gift" a certain amount to someone such as your spouse or parents and then have them put it in an account you can access. |
