For what reason would a Large U.S. Bank resign as trustee of a 1/2 Million dollar trust fund after 30+ Years? |
I requested an accounting of the Trust Fund because I was recently told it was only worth half of what they had been reporting to me for years. This occurred after a merger with another larger bank. Also, the yearly amounts reported as income to me have been averaging 33% more per year than the actual check I receive. Any Idea what My options are ??? or what to do ??? They could be resigning because they know they might be liable for mishandling your trustfund. Sounds to me like they are skimming the heck out of your trust as well. I'd want a detailed accounting of all their FEES, etc. Sounds to me like they are nickle-and-dime-ing you to death. |
