Is there any chance to include the profit gained in Mutual Fund can be covered under income tax?

Is there any chance to include the profit gained in Mutual Fund can be covered under income tax?

Hi,

If you have book profit with in one year ( 365 Days) of investment then you have to pay Short Term Capital Gain Tax that is 10%,

If you have booked profit after 1 year( 365 Days) of Investment then you dont have to pay tax as Per Income Tax Act their is no tax on Long Term Capital Gain.

If you have received any dividend thats too is Tax free in the hand of the Investor,

Short Term Period is Less Then 1 year i.e.( 365/ 366) days
Long Term Period is More Then 1 year i.e.( 365/ 366) days

When you sell the fund or it issues distributions of dividends and/or capital gains there is tax involved. The price rising or falling without a sale does not create taxable income or loss.

below 1 year -short term-gain will give income tax but long term gain extemted in tax
