Why BIF (Boulder Growth and Income Fund) quotes dropped so much on April 30th and May 1st ?

Why the quotes dropped so much ?
I think that the rigth to purchase shares at quote price and valuating them at NAV price would be good, creating the desire for purchasing shares, making the price to go up.

The markets all over fell those days and that is reflected in the funds price. You misunderstand funds, if you think buying more of the fund makes it's value go up. The funds are a collection of stocks, the fund price is the combined value of all the stocks in the fund.

Also , do you think that if today, you could buy as much stock as you want at last years price, that that would make all this stock go up tomorrow. Not a chance. A stock is worth what someone is willing pay for it, no more, no less.
