Should i?/????????????

Should i invest in Mutule funds what the risk????

Definitely

depends on type of MF
0- 50% with diff type

The risk of investing in mutual funds is that the market turns against you and you lose money.

I would say that you probably should not invest in them until you have a better understanding of the risks involved.

Also...I don't know if you noticed, but your '?' key seems to stick. You might want to have that looked at.

Mutual funds like any other investment have risk attached to them. Yes you can make money with mutual funds and yes you can loose money. A mutual fund is a group of shares (and sometimes other things) managed by a company that looks after the fund and decides which shares etc are in the fund. You sometimes pay a fee for them looking after your money and depending on the popularity and performance of the assets in the fund the price will go up and down.
Mutual funds are an easy way to invest. You hand over the money (sometimes on a regular basis) and the fund manager does the rest. You don't have to keep track of stock prices and you don't have to learn about the various companies and you don't have to analyse the stock price graphs (technical analysis). That can be a huge advantage to many people! Another advantage to mutual funds, as opposed to most other investments is that you do not need a huge amount of money to invest in them.
The disadvantages of mutual funds though are that you are (sometimes) paying a fee for them (for the research and technical analysis the fund manager is doing for you), that you are not in control of what is happening, it is the mutual fund manager who makes the decisions and because mutual funds are a resonably safe investment they usualy do not bring a high return (higer risk tends to bring high returns or big losses and lower risk tends to bring medium to no returns or small losses).
It is great that you want to invest. Many people start too late and have difficulty looking after themselves when things go bad or when they retire. If you want to invest but don't have the time to research your investments then I would advise you to invest in mutual funds. There are thousands out there though so you will still need to find out which assets they contain so you can choose one that will increase in value. See a financial planner if you can or ask your bank if they have someone you can speak to who can help you! Try to read lots of books about the subject of investing and remember to keep a cool head (investing can get very stressful).
As for myself I do own mutual funds but not many. I wish you a lot of success and with some practice and lots of study I am sure you can become a very successful investor!!
