Ballpark value of $20,000 college fund after ten years.? |
When my first wife and I divorced ten years ago, one of my daughters had a college fund investment of $20,000. Assuming that this was invested conservatively, what should $20,000 invested ten years ago be worth today? If it were invested in a decent growth stock mutual fund and had a return of 10% a year, the $20,000 would be worth $54,141 ten years later. Approximately 25,000 If you had invested $20,000 on the 31st Dec 1996, then using the stocksmonthly system you would have $1Million as of 31st DEC 2006. |
